Greetings Baseball Fans!
Unfortunately, the whole Peace Corps thingy didn't work out, and I am now back in the States and preparing for another incredible summer of fun at the baseball parks around the United States. 2010 promises to be an exhilarating season filled with interesting parks and even more intriguing experiences than in 2009. I have planned some very cool roadtrips for the summer, while having completed one already.
I'm already neck deep in baseball as I was opportunistic and saw three new parks while on my recent visit to the DC area. I visited Nationals Park in DC, Prince George's Stadium in Bowie, MD, and Camden Yards in Baltimore. I'm going to have a separate entry for each one of those parks as each one has a unique experience with it. I would have started this blog back when I went to those games, but I was in a very unpredictable situation, and I just simply didn't get around to it.
Before signing off to write my first entry on Washington DC and Nationals Park, let me give all of you a planned itinerary for this summer. First, the early season trip to the aforementioned three parks. At the end of June, for a second roadtrip, I'm taking the train down to Southern California to hit games in Anaheim, San Bernardino, and San Diego. Sometime in August, I am planning on flying to Utah to see games in Salt Lake City and Ogden. Along the way, I will certainly be attending Eugene Emeralds games and Portland Beavers games.
It promises to be an exciting season and I am glad to be back on the baseball roadtrip horse and telling all of you about my awesome adventures!
Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
